Amazon opens a 4-star store in the American Dream megamall

The store features merchandise rated four stars or more by shoppers.

New Jersey's famed American Dream megamall, whose construction and regular opening phases have been repeatedly delayed, including due to the pandemic, has acquired another big-name tenant (more than 130 total). Online retailer Amazon has opened its physical store here. The new outlet, which opened March 31, is Amazon's 30th 4-star store in the United States. 

The Amazon store occupies more than 500 square feet and sells about 2,500 different products. Featured product categories include children's products, sports equipment, electronics, books, home decor, appliances, and much more. Including visitors can try out various "smart" devices from Amazon, with the virtual assistant Alexa's support.

The store was named a 4-star store, and that definition was not chosen by accident. All the products on sale "migrated" to the store's shelves from the online site Amazon, and the products that have received the highest reviews from customers and have a rating of 4 stars or more have been chosen. The number of stars for Amazon.com items is even indicated on the price tag along with the price.

In this way, the store only offers the bestsellers and the most current products and popular new products. In the future, it is planned to update the range of products based on fresh ratings constantly. There is also a separate series of offers "for today," characterized by favorable prices and will change every day. 

The store's interior is designed in a restrained style, with simple details such as cement floors and black walls, to emphasize the brightness and attractiveness of the goods on the shelves.
