A new center of attraction opens in Larnaca - Metropolis Mall

The mall will open 135 stores, including Marks & Spencer, Stradivarius, Mango, Intimissimi, Calzedonia, Tezenis, and Mac.

Shopping and entertainment center Metropolis Mall is preparing to open in Larnaca for 80 million euros. The total area of the complex will be 39,000 square meters. The official opening of the mall to buyers will take place on September 17, 2021. South African company Acsion Group is the investor of the project.

According to the Dom Live portal, international brands Marks & Spencer, Stradivarius, Mango, Intimissimi, Calzedonia, Tezenis, Mac, and many others were announced as tenants. In the catering area, Starbucks, McDonald's, Costa Coffee, and others will open. 

The concept also implies the opening of Metropolis Mall food supermarket, multiplex cinema, cafes and restaurants, entertainment operators. A park of 18,000 square meters with play areas shall be laid out on the adjoining territory of the center; The parking lot will be able to accommodate 1450 cars. 

The Metropolis Mall in Larnaca was initially expected to be completed by the end of 2020, but due to the restrictions in force in Cyprus, the commissioning of the complex was delayed. In August, it was announced that the mall owners had finally decided to open it to customers. The mall is expected to become one of the new points of attraction for residents and tourists. About 1,400 new jobs will be created thanks to the mall's opening.
