The points-based program will expand its loyal customer base and encourage customers to visit more often.

The fast-food chain has moved on to a new phase of testing its MyMcDonald’s Rewards loyalty program, scheduled to be fully operational in the United States by the end of 2021. Since the first restaurant began experimenting in November 2020, 400 more of the chain’s 14,000 U.S. restaurants have been added.
McDonald’s customers will be able to accumulate points for every dollar spent. Members can earn 100 points for each dollar and have the opportunity to collect even more points with targeted promotions, such as double points for a visit on Monday.
McDonald’s employees will greet loyal customers by name as they drive by the pickup location. Customers will receive a personalized email after receiving their order, with offers tailored to their tastes and preferences.
The loyalty program is planned to stimulate sales and help expand the base of loyal customers and make more personalized promotional offers to such customers. Point accumulation will also be available to restaurant employees. They will be able to earn them for completing training related to the program.
