Station Mall hosts over 110 stores, dining establishments and services. There is also a twelve-screen multi-theatre. Opened in 1973 Station Mall had 284,000 square feet of retail space and 70 tenants. Expansions in 1981 and 1989, added more than 200,000 square feet of additional retail space. The 52,000-square-foot 2400-seat Galaxy Entertainment Complex was opened in 2003 overlooking the waterfront The mall underwent a major renovation project, adding big box stores and renovating the interior. In 2011 a new Sport Chek opened and as a small Walmart Supercentre opened in 2013. Galaxy Cinemas downsized from to make room for H&M.
