The previous building complex at Mannheimer Straße 234 in the district of Kaiserslautern-Ost was once the location where Recaro car seats were manufactured but has now undergone a complete revitalization to become the attractive Pfalz Center, with over 20 shops and service facilities. The newly added mall leads through the center, and at its end is located a large round food court.
Still the town’s only shopping center, it offers an attractive mix of industries and also invites you to stay and enjoy its international gastronomy. It includes anchor tenants such as the “Real” hypermarket, the “Modepark Röther” store, the “Aldi” discount store, and the “Rossmann” chemist and depot. The service providers include, amongst others, a chemist, a tailor, cleaners, a flower shop, a hairdresser, and a shoe-and-key service.
This modern shopping center serves the residents of Kaiserslautern and its surroundings, including many American citizens in the adjacent barracks and neighborhoods.
Pfalz Center shopping mall, located in the district of Kaiserslautern-Ost, benefits from the excellent transport links and offers 1,250 free and partly covered parking spaces.
The mall went through revitalization works in 2011. The new mall already looks pleasantly light and friendly. The façade of the center is dressed with wood, with friendly colors in the interior and plenty of light. The walls and ceilings are captivating with a new corrugated profile and wave design. In the color design, yellow and white take on a dominant role, and the overhead lighting makes use of effective LED technology.
Skims, Primark, Ulta Beauty, and Pacsun all opened their first international stores in Dubai within 90 days.
