Marlborough Mall is on the same block as the Applewood Village condominiums and near a four-lane divided road for easy driving access. Pacific Place and a strip mall are nearby. The larger, two-storey Sunridge Mall and Real Canadian Superstore outlet are also nearby. Marlborough Mall is ideally situated in a high commercial area.
Originally built in the 1970s, Marlborough Mall was anchored by Woolco. Later renovations added a Simpsons-Sears anchor. In 2005 Marlborough Mall had a total makeover including new tile, additional skylights, and a corridor to access an expansion of Wal-Mart. A 2010 construction added 930 m2 including a loading dock and space for three new retailers.
