Sharjah, UAE’s third largest city, is the newest destination for the exquisite Avenues Mall brand.
The brand is the flagship brand of Line Investments & Property LLC, a fast-rising retail real estate corporation in the Middle East. The architect of the Sharjah Avenues Mall project is the elitist Design International and Design Concepts firm.
The shopping center will be located in the Samnan area and will serve a catchment area with 600,000 residents within 15 minutes of driving distance. Line is looking to develop the Avenues Mall in Sharjah to be a medium size city mall but with the innovation and quality of a super-regional mall.
The mall will be a synergy of exquisite shopping, top-grade design, awesome dining, and state-of-the art guest services. In addition, the mall will boast of an expansive 2,100-space parking lot.
The design concept of the mall is unique and is inspired by the wooden ‘Abra’ boats that are indicative of the rich nautical heritage of Sharjah: Abra boats still float in Dubai Creek and are just as functional today as they were when they were first introduced several decades ago.
Sharjah Avenues Mall when completed will be an exhilarating mesh of old and new. Bringing together in exotic harmony the traditional souk markets and coral-and-gypsum houses in close proximity and unwavering connectedness with the triple volume glass atrium, akin to the height of a coastal cliff.
The shopping center will sport an array of casual dining restaurants that will complement the offerings of established food court outlets to deliver an authentic and remarkable ‘food-street’ concept. The food and dining offering will be a delectable mix of artisan, gourmet food and beverage trends.
Customers will be welcomed to open seating arrangements along a boulevard for seamless connection of highly refined offerings for a true food destination experience. The total gross leasable area of the mall is 43,000 square meters, of which 16,000 square meters will house the Lulu Hypermarket and Department store. The shopping center will also host a Cinema and Family Entertainment Center to make it the preferred leisure destination in Sharjah.
