Birkenstock, Skechers, Levi’s, Aeropostale, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein Jeans have opened on the mall’s premises.

The new Assima Mall, which opened in El Kuwait on Nov. 4, 2021, will be filled with fashionable international brands.
According to Retail & Leisure International, Dubai-based fashion distributor and retailer Apparel Group has opened 16 stores at once as part of the shopping mall.
As a result, stores of international brands, such as Skechers, Levi’s, Aeropostale, BHPC, Rituals, Tommy Hilfiger, Aldo, Aldo Accessories, Charles & Keith, Calvin Klein Jeans, Dune London, LC Waikiki, Hema, Hush Puppies, and Lakeland appeared on Assima Mall premises. A number of these brands appeared exclusively in the local market.
“We are proud to partner with Assima Mall and further expand into the Kuwaiti market. The expansion of our brands’ collaboration with Assima Mall aligns with our strategy of being responsive to consumer demand. Kuwait continues to grow as a leading destination, and we are proud to be part of the country’s thriving growth,” commented Niraj Tekchandani of Apparel Group.
Apparel Group is a significant player in the fashion retail segment in the UAE and has a strong presence in Asian markets in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and India. The group operates more than 1,750 stores and 75 brands on four continents.
The sale is expected to be finalized in the second half of 2024.
