Apple is preparing to open a new store in Vancouver. The two-level Apple Pacific Centre will be located at the intersection of West Georgia and Howe Street, next to the Vancouver Art Gallery.
The flagship store will replace the existing Apple Store, which opened at Pacific Centre in 2008. The company has officially confirmed that it will open on November 18.
For this date, glass facade of the store was decorated with artwork created by Canadian designer Mo Bofill in collaboration with artist Debra Sparrow.
Apple has released the first pictures of the store – you can see the artwork, a wood ceiling, a green wall, and an open-air plaza with a terrace.
To celebrate the opening on the first weekend, Apple will hold free sessions for its customers as part of the Today at Apple program. Guest guests at the event include Vancouver musician Boslen, choreographer Chloe Arnold, and Apple Music radio host George Stromboloupoulos.
The new Apple Pacific Centre flagship will be the third store with a separate street entrance in the Apple chain in Canada, on par with Apple Saint-Catherine and Apple DIX30 in Montreal.
