The iPhone maker is forced to take new measures amid a rapidly growing number of new infections in the United States.

Apple has announced the introduction of a mandatory mask mode at all stores located in the United States. The iPhone maker has been forced to take the new measures amid a fast-growing number of new infections in the country.
In November 2021, Apple canceled masked mode at more than 100 of its 270 existing mono stores in the U.S. when the number of illnesses in the country was declining. Bloomberg writes that the new spike has forced the company to change store rules again.
“We regularly monitor conditions and will adjust our in-store sanitation measures to support the well-being of customers and employees,” Apple commented.
The emergence of the new Omicron strain has caused concern in the business community, and several companies have recently changed their operating and customer service protocols. For example, JPMorgan Chase & Co. sent unvaccinated employees to work remotely, and Jefferies Financial Group’s office went almost entirely to a remote location.
