The Adidas website and app will sell items from the 2022 collections.
German sports concern Adidas has decided to release a large batch of Yeezy-branded merchandise in August. Sales will be launched including through the company’s wholesale partners.

Adidas states that a significant portion of the proceeds from selling Yeezy products will be donated to charity. Sales will only be conducted through digital platforms. So, in particular, the Adidas website and app will sell items from the 2022 collections.
Adidas said that the second release of Yeezy merchandise will begin on Wednesday and will be phased in to manage demand and provide a “fair and premium service” to customers.
Experts said the company, which has repeatedly reported financial problems due to the suspension of its partnership with Kanye West, may have already recouped almost all of its losses.
In the spring of 2023, Adidas reported a possible annual loss for the first time in thirty years due to the loss of Yeezy. The sports giant considered destroying batches of the shoe, but abandoned the idea. Ultimately, it was decided to sell off the stock and send the earnings to charity.
Despite the controversy surrounding the initiative to sell off the Yeezy, the runoffs sold out in huge numbers. Adidas has since raised its annual sales forecast again. Yeezy stock is currently valued at 400 million euros. The company will soon sell off inventory including the Yeezy Slide, Foam Rnr, and the Yeezy Boost 350 V2, 500 and 700.
The retailer has revised its plans due to high reputational risks.
