Starting on September 15, the Walmart+ premium subscription program will begin its work, priced at $98 a year or $12.95 monthly.
The retailer has, for a long time, promised to create a more convenient subscription program for its regular customers, which will make the standard shopping process even easier. Finally, it was announced that Walmart+ would resume its work on September 15.
Walmart + members will receive unlimited free shipping, fuel discounts, as well as access to the Scan & Go application, which allows customers to make purchases at Walmart without wasting time in queues quickly. However, customers will need to spend a minimum of $35 for each online order. For regular customers who are not members of Walmart+, the shipping cost will be approximately $7.95 to $9.95. In the future, the company promises even more benefits for its members.
The cost of participating in the program is $98 per year or $12.95 per month. In comparison, Walmart's main competitor for subscription programs, Amazon, offers free delivery without any additional conditions on Amazon Prime, as well as access to its music and video service for $119 per year or $12.95 per month.
