Simon is launching scalable, turnkey retail platform The Edit at Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island.
Created in one of America's most iconic shopping malls, The [email protected] Field brings together both established and developing brands to pilot new products in an interactive retail space that blurs the lines of physical space. For some of the participating names that have online businesses only, this will be their first venture into a brick and mortar space.
The [email protected] Field, produced by O'Neil Langan Architects, will feature a rotating range of exciting and diverse new labels with the initial collection taking shape now. Highlighted labels will include Raden Smart Luggage, menswear brand Vitaly, millennial-focused Skinnydip London, athletic apparel favorite Rhone, Beltology, beauty brand Winky Lux, dessert darling JARS by Dani, and contemporary art gallery Uprise Art.
Brands will be presented in micro retail units differing from twenty to two hundred square feet. The [email protected] Field solution provides all the retailing essentials from custom-designed modular fixturing systems, digital media displays, to staffing solutions for any brand that wishes not to provide their own. Shoppers will be able to interact with brand representatives who will be on hand to give product information, and brand storytelling.
"We are thrilled to bring this revolutionary retail model that enables brands to come to market faster and more visibly than ever before beginning at one of our premier properties, Roosevelt Field," told Zachary Beloff, National Director of Business Development for Simon. "This concept is a design-centric, experience-driven, and completely transitional place to discover new product and technology in a brick and mortar space. Our customers will be able to experience and interact with new brands like never before."
Simon has collaborated with AllWork, technology, and services platform that enables brands and retailers to manage their retail talent more flexible to reduce expenses and grow sales.
The platform proposes brands the opportunity to showcase a strategic and curated product selection inspiring customers to explore new products in a high-touch, low-barrier conditions that will raise the experience of interactive shopping.
