The new center in Daytona Beach will have approximately 350,000 square feet of retail space and feature over 80 retailers.
The picturesque Daytona Beach will be home to Tanger Outlets’ newest center. When complete, the center will offer over 80 retail shops to first-rate brands in its expansive real estate of over 350,000 square feet.
Construction plans peg opening time to be late in 2016 to take advantage of the 2016 holiday shopping season. The center is poised to increase local job availability with 400 jobs during the construction jobs, with the number to more than double (at over 900 jobs) after it opens. Annual tax revenue from the outlet is expected to hit $8.8 million.
According to the CEO and President of Tanger Outlets, Steven B. Tanger, the vision statement of the new outlet is to deliver “a world class shopping experience” to the resident and tourist population of the “iconic Daytona Beach area”.
The location of the new center is certainly strategic. The center takes root at the southeast quadrant of 1-95 and LPGA Boulevard. It is adjacent to the main entrance of the Ladies Professional Golf Association corporate headquarters and golf course. Accessibility is seamless as the site is just 6 miles away from the beaches of Volusia County and only 2.5 miles north of Daytona Speedway.
