Macy’s and Samsung announced a unique Samsung experience store in New York City.
Starting November shoppers of Macy’s store on Herald Square will be able to explore and buy a variety of Samsung products. The assortment includes a collection of the most innovative technologies in virtual reality, tablet, smartphone, wearable, QLED television, the Family Hub refrigerator, smart audio and home categories.
Marc Mastronardi, Macy’s executive vice president of business development, told: “With the new Samsung experience at Macy’s Herald Square, we are creating an innovative and beautiful, one-of-a-kind digital playground in a flagship department store, featuring numerous installations and touch points for customer engagement.”
Customers can experience for the first time an integrated Samsung ecosystem created to simplify everyday life, all in a specially curated 1,000 square foot area on the main floor at Macy’s Herald Square. Explore the next innovation television wall, highlighting The Frame, which seamlessly modifies from a 4K UHD TV to a gallery-like art screen for a premium entertainment reality.
Clients can have a ride in the 4-D virtual reality roller coaster action that moves you at the core of an out of this world adventure to a new scene with the Gear VR and Oculus Controller.
A full scale of Samsung product and accessories will form out the tech lover’s paradise, including Galaxy smartphones, cases, wireless mobile accessories and more. Customers will also have the chance to test and purchase the latest Samsung wearables and develop their home tech ecosystem with the Samsung Connect Home System and an assortment of Samsung SmartThings.
