The Mall of Qatar is the largest entertainment, leisure, and shopping complex in the oil-rich state of Qatar. The agreement signed between Mr. Shem Krey—MD of Mall of Qatar, Mr. Rony Mourani—GM of Mall of Qatar, and Mr. Wassim Arabi—CEO of Alshaya; will have Alshaya opening more than 30 retail stores and restaurant outlets in the Mall of Qatar.
Alshaya is a top-grade Middle Eastern brand and won the latest edition of the Middle East Retailer of the Year Award in June 2015. Their repertoire include popular international food, optics and home furnishing, fashion & footwear, pharmacy, and health and beauty brands like Starbucks, Victoria’s Secret, H&M, Mothercare, The Cheesecake Factory, and the Debenhams.
