The release comes a few months after the first collaborative collection was unveiled in April.The second collection of this partnership combines the rich history of Liverpool Football Club with creativity and diversity that reflects the new generation of soccer fans worldwide. The capsule features the club's iconic colors, architecture, and fonts and is highlighted by a limited edition unisex down jacket and Converse x LFC Chuck 70 high-top sneakers.
The Chuck 70 sneakers feature a color-blocking and gradient style inspired by Liverpool Football Club's classic away stripes. At the same time, the matching cotton Crew jersey is adorned with illustrated LFC-inspired graphics and the Converse x LFC Star Player 76 logo.
The campaign features prominent Liverpool FC fans - creative Dredz, singer Pixey, and artist Sterling Rose Kelly - and players from the soccer club, including Darwin Nunez, Missy Bo Kearns, and Taylor Hinds.
By releasing the new capsule, Converse is investing in Homotopia's Young Creative Skills Homotopia program, slated to launch in 2023. The campaign also features Homotopia artists and Liverpool fans, including Olivia Graham, Jess Scott, Margie Halston, Sian Bennett, Kolade, and DJ Lauren Lo Sung.
