HUMA ELEVEN presents its extension in Vienna-Simmering on Thursday, September 28th.
Around 90 shops, catering, and service companies offer everything for a perfect shopping experience on a total of 50,000 m². The 6,000-m² Fashion Park Röther is the largest multi-brand fashion shop ever opened in a shopping center in Vienna. Other newcomers include TK Maxx, Humanic, and Müller. On top of the new stores, the main point for Vienna’s most modern shopping center is customer service. In addition to periodically changing pop-up stores, the expansion also includes a free bus service to the center, state-of-the-art charging points for electric vehicles, and a practical home delivery service.
HUMA ELEVEN in Vienna-Simmering is located at a fabulous trading location. The catchment area stretches beyond the populations of Simmering and the city of Vienna to include much of Lower Austria and northern Burgenland. In addition to existing bus lines, HUMA ELEVEN has created a free direct bus from the U3 “Simmering” subway station, and the bus goes directly from Schwechat every 30 minutes during the opening hours.
The shopping center market in Austria is saturated, and developers are relying on qualitative relaunches more than ever before. According to “Standort + Markt,” new area of only 30,000 to 40,000 m² is to be expected for 2017. 20,000 m²—i.e., more than half—of that space are attributable to the HUMA ELEVEN increase: the center has grown from 30,000 to 50,000 m². That makes Marcus Wild, CEO of SES Spar European Shopping Centers, proud: “The HUMA ELEVEN enlargement is the most exciting shopping center opening of the year—not only for us but the entire industry. The project team has done a fantastic job, not only adding modernity and diversity, but also a unique feel-good atmosphere and generosity, to the traditional business location,” says Wild. Chapman Taylor was responsible for the architectural design.
The existing customer's magnets INTERSPAR, H&M, Media Markt, and an extensive range of catering services will now be followed by TK Maxx, Europe’s leading off-price company for fashion and home accessories, which is opening its third spot in HUMA ELEVEN in Vienna. Modepark Röther, a family-run business from Germany, is celebrating the opening of its debut multi-brand label store in Vienna.
HUMA ELEVEN’s architecture, with natural materials and plenty of daylight, making it a feel-good shopping center. The largest indoor water feature in any Austrian shopping center also contributes to this. “HUMA ELEVEN has established itself as a favorite meeting spot in Simmering, if not a landmark since the new building opened,” told Paul Stadler, District Manager for Vienna-Simmering.
