Funan just completed its ground breaking ceremony and will be relaunching in Q4 2019 on the site of the former Funan DigitaLife Mall.
Located at the heart of Singapore’s Civic & Culture District at 100 North Bridge Road, Funan is owned by CapitaLand and designed by Woods Bagot. Building on its legacy as the definitive IT mall in Singapore over the last three decades, Funan will go beyond selling IT products to incorporating th tech experience into lifestyle-based precincts throughout the entire development.
Funan has a total GFA of 887,000 sqft. Occupying more than half the GFA at 500,000 sqft is the six-story retail, dining and lifestyle podium. Three towels sit above, including two six-story premium Grade-A office towers level 5 to level 10 with a CFA of 266,000 sqft. Completing the integrated development is a nine-story block housing 279 co-living apartment units from levee 4 to level 12 with GFA of 121,000 sqft. A mobile-first digital platform that is linked to a smart car parking and smart access system, with video analytics and product curation will be incorporated as part of the building's technology to improve productivity, energy efficiency and security.
Funan us the first commercial property in Asia to provide for ride through pathways. It will offer full end-of-trip services for cycling enthusiasts, including big shops an cafes, losers and showers. Funan's ground floor will have multiple access points and gentle slopes ta make it easy for both cyclists and pedestrians to enter the building. For other vehicles, Funan will provide Singapore's first dedicated internet shopping drive and collect facilities in the basement levels.
