Construction work on and around the Marstall shopping center based in Ludwigsburg, Germany is undergoing rapid progression.
ECE is responsible for the modification of this building. The exterior and interior of the center, which was originally constructed during the 1970s is set to be modernized, modified and redesigned by ECE. Its planned opening during the fall of 2015 will see a new center with 60 stores, as well as a range of exterior and interior cafs and restaurants, measuring 25700m. The general contractor commissioned by ECE is Ed. Zblin.
One of the highlights of the new structure will be the architecture. The interior of the building will be based on the historic roots of the area.
Eighteen months prior to its opening, 40% of the Marstall rental space has already been leased. The design of the center will include a combination of smaller stores with a number of larger stores. The main objective is to provide the city of Ludwigsburg with additional retail offers. ECE is placing focus on increasing the leisure experience of visitors to the center.
