The official opening of the outlet is scheduled for November 10. The store will be the second largest in Dr. Martens portfolio after the flagship store in Camden. The brand will own two stores on one of London's main pedestrian streets. Currently, 386 Oxford Street already features a 1,100-square-foot mono store.
Dr. Martens EMEA President Mike Stopforth said: "Oxford Street has long been a key shopping location for London. "It feels fitting that our 100th store location should reflect our iconic brand so well.
"We have traveled a long way since launching in 1960, 63 years ago, but our brand is authentic to its origins and while we have stores across Europe, it is symbolic that the 100th is in London alongside our flagship on Carnaby Street."
It was reported that Dr. Martens sales exceeded £1 billion a year, while the company's profits fell 26% to £159 million due to operational errors in the U.S. market.
