McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport is preparing for opening, with attention shifting to the façade detail.
The mall will be the first designer outlet of this type within North America. The first development phase will include the creation of 600 retail jobs, with the center due to announce a Careers Fair during the latter part of this month.
Vancouver has become a top shopping destination, which makes it the ideal area for a designer outlet shopping mall. The center will house about 80 stores and offer 22300m² of retail space. Shoppers will be offered sought-after North American and international brand names, with savings of up to 70%.
The design of the mall maintains the European style of an open-air village, with tree-lined streets, a fountain, luxury piazza, walkways and various facades. The experience is completed with several activities, cafes and restaurants, making it the perfect place to visit for a ‘day out’.
McArthurGlen Vancouver Airport can be accessed quite easily via Templeton Station on the Canada Line. It is a mere three minutes from the airport and around 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver.
The center is a joint venture between Vancouver Airport Authority, which operates the Vancouver International Airport, and McArthurGlen, the top European owner, manager and developer of designer outlets.
