Gentle Monster-owned cosmetics brand Tamburins has revealed the veils of its third flagship store in Seoul's Songsu neighborhood. This picturesque corner of the city, known as "Seoul's Brooklyn," is packed with luxury global brands, emerging local labels and stylish cafes, including NUDAKE, an artistic dessert establishment owned by Gentle Monster.
Tamburins' striking façade and sociocultural focus
The new store in Songsu is Tamburins' third standalone flagship store in South Korea. With an eye on the "Spectator in the Garden" concept, this store marks a new stage in the evolution of the Tamburins brand, offering an immersive retail experience with a highly curated experience. The store's façade, embedded in a non-smooth concrete frame, conveys the strength of the brand and its strong focus on socio-cultural aspects. The lower concrete level provides a view into the store's interior through glass webs, creating an underground sheltering atmosphere.
Artistry meets retail
Inside Tamburins' new flagship store, the latest range of merchandise is presented in an atmosphere reminiscent of an art installation. With an autumnal and romantic atmosphere, dry leaves and earth are carefully arranged in the store's heart, complemented by sculptures and artwork from Lee Jaehyun.
Jenny of BLACKPINK at Tamburins' Seongsu flagship
At the store's official opening weekend, guests could glimpse Jenny from the band BLACKPINK, a longtime friend and brand ambassador of Tamburins. Tamburins' new flagship store in Seongsu now welcomes visitors daily from noon to 9 pm.
