Cotton On, an Australian retail chain, is recognized for the fast-fashion clothing for men, women, teenagers and children. Cotton On has almost 1200 stores in 12 countries. The company employs 17,000 staff worldwide. Established by Nigel Austin in Geelong, Australia, Cotton On at first sold only women's clothing.

Although the design team in the company's head office in Australia controls the steps of production from merchandise planning to establishing specifications, production is outsourced to 150 factories in Europe and Asia.
