Trinity Leeds To Launch Own Gin Brand And Festival

The shopping center in Leeds to launch its brand of gin – Ginity.

Trinity Leeds is becoming the first shopping center to launch its brand of gin. The concoction was created in the presentation of Trinity Leeds partnership with Gin Vodka Festival – the UK’s largest of its kind – to launch the inaugural ‘Trinity Leeds Gin Vodka Festival’ at its celebrated Food & Beverage destination, Trinity Kitchen on 27–28 May 2017. The limited edition, 200-bottle run will later be sold at Latitude, a Leeds wine and spirit specialist, with all proceeds donated to charity.



Trinity Leeds Gin Vodka Festival, which is part of the wider Gin Vodka Festival’s national tour, will showcase the launch of the shopping center’s very own gin brand, Ginity. Hosting the event reinforces Trinity’s position at the heart of Leeds’ resurgence, as it also continues to expand its vibrant all-day leisure offering. Only last week, Land Securities announced planning permission to develop a fourth rooftop dining and bar experience, ‘The Potting Shed,' at Trinity Leeds.

As a true Leeds institution, Trinity Leeds made Ginity for the people by the people to give back to the people. Ginity was created by asking Trinity Leeds’ dedicated social media followers to nominate flavors that best represented the center, with apple, cinnamon, pear, and star anise receiving the most public votes. The four flavors were then blended with gin recipe favorites – juniper, coriander seeds, angelica, root, and cardamom – by Sara Birkinshaw, an artisan gin producer from Leeds Gin, based in the city. The decision to employ a local producer for the project is a testament to Trinity Leeds’ continuing support for home-grown talent and the city’s continual progress.
