SM City Tianjin Opened In China

SM opens it's Asia’s largest shopping center and 7th mall in China.

SM City Tianjin is located in Tianjin’s Airport Economic Area, which has the largest free trade zone in Northern China. The newest shopping mall would add more than 560,000 Sqm in GFA when completely open. The five buildings of the shopping mall are named in honor of the traditional Chinese "Five Elements" - Metal, Wood, Fire, Water, Earth. The shopping mall is now in soft opening and mainly covers the first and second-floor areas of the Water Ring, Wood Ring, and some of the junctions in Gold Ring (connecting the Water Ring and Wood Ring). Ten opening tenants mix include fashion, supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants, kids, parent-child, leisure and entertainment, beauty, services, sports, etc. The Earth Ring is the parking building and provides more than 8700 parking spaces for customers' convenience.
 

The list of opened or partly opened popular anchor stores in SM City Tianjin: April, Bravo YH, IFREE, Decathlon, Acasia Food Court, Korea Plaza, Jiawen Theme Park. 
 
Bravo YH, one of the top 500 Chinese enterprises, opens its modern supermarket. It has 7638 square meters of business area, selling high-quality and environmental-friendly products.
 
IFREE Cinema brings the latest cinema technology – STARMAX with a 26-meter giant screen laser.

Decathlon, a 40-year-old French sports supermarket, covers nearly 4,500 square meters, providing about 35,000 kinds of sports equipment; Also, it offers a unique 600 square meters of basketball courts.
 
As for the catering part, SM City Tianjin provides about 30 F&B shops. Among them, Acasia Food Court covers an area of 1300 square meters, offers various Chinese and Western cuisine.

Besides the anchors, various brands can meet the shopping and experience demand of customers, such as retail brands (e.g., Watsons, Home of Samsonite, Suma, Glass Miki, TenFu Tea, Baerdi), Kids brands (e.g., Happy Play Country, Myland,  Shuxiangyuan). It also runs service brands of banks, telecom, SPA, and nail salon, etc.
 
In the future, SM City Tianjin will provide more new formats every month and gradually improve other service functions based on soft opening, such as department store, discovery park, theme shops, restaurants, family entertainment center, beauty & fitness, IT stores, bookstores, etc.
