A Star Wars-themed fashion campaign is the first initiative as part of the partnership. The alliance between Disney UK and Westfield will take Disney-themed family rooms and play areas, along with a group of campaigns and actions to Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City in London.
Disney and Westfield will reveal branded play areas during 2017, the first of that will be at spring with the start of uniquely designed Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends branded family places across Westfield's shopping centers, changing them into the wonderful 100 Acre Wood.
Two fun Mickey Mouse themed play areas are planned to open in the summer in both centers. Mickey Mouse plays zone will offer interactive and physical play features for pre-schoolers. A Frozen-themed play area will follow in the autumn at Westfield Stratford City.
The play centers will start a Star Wars-inspired fashion campaign, which launched in February, to promote the alliance between Disney and Westfield. It highlights Star Wars characters alongside models presenting the new season’s fashion trends at Westfield. The campaign is now live on out-of-home localities over London, online and inside the Westfield centers.
Noting the start of cooperation between Disney and Disney the shopping mall giant, the campaign was designed by Ujin Lin, one of the lead directors for Prada, Vogue stylist Maya Zepinic, and fashion photographer Andreas Sjodink.
