XXI Forever Brings Life to Northshore Mall

Officials in Peabody for the Northshore Mall announced the grand opening of XXI Forever, a 40,000-square-foot clothing store in the mall’s new wing planned for tomorrow.

XXI Forever is a larger version of Forever 21 Inc., a Los Angeles-based store specializing in current fashion trends for women and men, featuring both clothing and accessories. The press release put out by mall officials also said that the Northshore Mall store will be the first XXI Forever in this particular format in a mall in Greater Boston.

The two-floor XXI Forever store will include three of the retailer’s brands previously seen only in larger locations – Forever 21 apparel and accessories; Twelve by Twelve, a couture line; and Heritage 1981, a lifestyle brand for men and women, mall officials said.

Northshore Mall is one of about a dozen Massachusetts shopping centers run by Simon Property Group, which owns and operates malls all over the country.

Simon Property Group said in a press release that “The retailer is also planning to open store locations in Cape Cod Mall and Burlington Mall later this year.”
