New Ideas for Boston Mall Stimulates Industry
A Boston mall boasts two new developments unique to the shopping experience: a children’s store called Creatoyvity and a fitness program called Stroller Strides.
The Atrium Mall, located in the Chestnut Hill section of Newton, has grand opening festivities planned through the weekend, which will feature a balloon artist, a magician and face painting, among other thngs.
Creatoyvity describes itself as a “retailer of toys and baby products dedicated to inspiring creative kids from birth to adolescence.” Stroller Strides kicked off fitness classes earlier this week with a program. tailored to exercises that new mothers can do with their babies. Taught by specially trained instructors, the program includes “power walking and intervals of body toning using exercise tubing and the stroller,” the company said. More
Atrium Mall is part of the Simon Property Group empire. A real estate investment trust headquartered in Indianapolis, Simon Property operates dozens of malls around the country, including 14 in Massachusetts.
